Matthew Thomas Sommers is a pharmacist, medical writer, and editor from Eagan, MN.

In 2011, he graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy with a relentless and tenacious pursuit of knowledge. He continued to pursue learning in his professional life, where he focused on behavioral health management in order to enhance his practical pharmacy experience. Over the course of his career, he has accumulated over 12 years of clinical and management experience.

Due to his spirit of innovation and thirst for knowledge, he became more entrepreneurial. He displayed remarkable courage and steadfastness in accepting a position to open a pharmacy from scratch. However, he didn’t stop there. Through his role as a preceptor, he provided pharmacy students with an opportunity to nurture and develop their professional skills. Through his work as a medical writer and editor, Matt’s passion for education has led him down a path of helping individuals navigate their health care with confidence.
